The Panda is classified generally to bring family and is native to central and southern China. Main Food Panda is bamboo, but they eat other foods such as fish, eggs and honey. It is one of the most endangered species in the world with 1.600 pandas living in the wild and about 160 live in captivity.

Pandas adult length 1.6 meters to 1.8 meters, weighing between 176 to 275 pounds. Giant pandas have a large head with a distinctive black patches around the eyes, ears and body.

Napping Giant Panda

Giant pandas are found in mountainous areas which are covered with bamboo trees in central and south as Sichuan and Tibet. Although taxonomically classified as a predator, the giant panda, the food is mainly herbivorous. They feed almost exclusively on bamboo and leaves. Wild pandas get much of their water needs by bamboo trees, their contents get about 50% water, and the rest of the water around the rivers and streams of water.

Mum and baby giant pandas

The pandas reproduce very slowly, and child mortality is high – these are important reasons for species such risk. Raising baby pandas are slow as, and does not reach sexual maturity until they are aged from 5 to 7 years. The mating season for everything, the rule is March-May.
